Our Curriculum Overview

A Commitment to Excellence

Pride Rock Model school aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.

Whether it is our books or hands-on training, we make sure each student gets personal attention to cope up and flourish in every subject for better scores and a brighter future.

Language Development

Language Development (oral English, phonics, story-telling, rhymes, pre-reading). Language development is a core foundation of learning in nursery and primary schools. At this stage, children are introduced to the power of communication through speaking, listening, reading, and writing. From the early years, pupils engage in activities such as rhymes, songs, storytelling, phonics, and simple conversations that help them build vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence in expressing themselves.

Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning at Pride Rock Model School

At Pride Rock Model School, we believe in nurturing young minds to think critically, logically, and creatively. This is why Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning form an important part of our curriculum. Quantitative Reasoning helps pupils develop problem-solving skills through logical thinking and the application of mathematical concepts. It sharpens their ability to analyze patterns, understand relationships, and solve puzzles that go beyond regular arithmetic. This builds a strong foundation for Mathematics and other science-related subjects. Verbal Reasoning, on the other hand, trains pupils to reason with words and language. Through exercises such as analogies, comprehension, word puzzles, and logical deductions, pupils learn how to think clearly, expand their vocabulary, and strengthen their communication skills.

Social Norms & Civic Studies

At Pride Rock Model School, we recognize that education is not only about academics but also about building character and instilling values that shape responsible citizens. This is why we place emphasis on Social Norms and Civic Habits as part of our curriculum. From the early years, pupils are guided to develop good manners, respect for others, honesty, kindness, and a sense of responsibility. Through classroom activities, role-play, and everyday interactions, children learn the importance of sharing, cooperation, obedience to rules, and respect for elders and authority. As they progress, we also introduce pupils to civic habits such as cleanliness, punctuality, patriotism, respect for national symbols, environmental care, and active participation in community life. These values prepare them not only to succeed academically but also to contribute positively to society. By integrating Social Norms and Civic Habits into daily learning, Pride Rock Model School ensures that our pupils grow into well-rounded individuals who embody discipline, empathy, and leadership qualities—traits that will guide them throughout their lives.

Science

At Pride Rock Model School, we see Science as the gateway to discovery, curiosity, and innovation. Our Science curriculum introduces pupils to the wonders of the world around them—plants, animals, the human body, the environment, energy, and simple technology—through interactive and engaging lessons. We encourage hands-on learning where children observe, experiment, and explore. From simple classroom demonstrations to practical activities like planting seeds, testing materials, or learning about the weather, pupils develop curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a love for inquiry. As they advance, we build a solid foundation in Basic Science and Technology, preparing them for future studies in health, engineering, and other science-related fields. Beyond academics, our goal is to instill in pupils a sense of responsibility for their environment and an understanding of how science impacts daily life.

Coding

At Pride Rock Model School, coding is more than typing commands—it’s a fun way to build problem-solvers, creative thinkers, and confident digital citizens. From the Early Years to Junior classes, pupils learn to design, test, and improve their own projects while collaborating with classmates. From the very first steps, pupils are introduced to coding in fun and playful ways—using puzzles, storytelling, and games. As they grow, they begin creating their own animations, apps, and even simple websites. By the time they reach upper primary and junior levels, they are already writing code in Scratch, HTML, and Python, building projects that show creativity and problem-solving.

Robotics & STEM

We proudly integrate Robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) into our curriculum, giving pupils the opportunity to explore, create, and innovate in ways that prepare them for the future. Through Robotics and STEM, pupils not only learn science and technology—they develop resilience, teamwork, creativity, and leadership. These skills empower them to thrive in a world driven by innovation. Robotics and STEM are not extras—they are core parts of how we nurture tomorrow’s engineers, inventors, and problem-solvers. We are raising children who will not just adapt to the future, but will help build it.
